11.07.2012 Youngsters from China, Italy and Romania are studying in IUC
9 to July 13,2012 in International University College, Dobrich was organized training (within the project against poverty and protection of the environment) for young leaders in the field of sustainable agriculture, sustainable entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism, in which participants are representatives of youth organizations – partners in the project. Besides the exchange of good practices and the development of leader skills, set in the program of the education, the youngsters will have the task also to shoot a short video, presenting in attractive and innovative way their ideas to strife against the biggest problems in the World – poverty and the environmental pollution.
The participants will have the possibility to get familiar with the Bulgarian, as well as the local culture. The hosts planed traditional dance classes, астниците ще имат възможност да опознаят и българската, и в частност местната, култура като домакините са предвидили часове за изучаване на народни танци, tasting traditional dishes from Dobrudja and visits to tourist sites in the region of Dobrich.
The project “Youth partnership for sustainable rural development: mobilizing of local resources for environmental protection and fight against poverty” aims to mobilize the youngsters in the goals of the project, connected with the economical and commercial development and to increase the knowledge of the youngsters in the sustainable methods for fight against poverty.
The project gives the opportunity to youngsters from 3 continents to meet and to share valuable experience and ideas for the environmental protection and poverty. With this initiative the partner organizations are hoping to increase the youth responsibility and activity in the matters of the future development of the World.
The project of International Solutions Association, Dobrich, named “Youth partnership for sustainable rural development: mobilizing of local resources for environmental protection and fight against poverty” started in November, 2011. It is implemented within the program “Youth in action” of the European Commission. The implementation of the activities in the project is carried out by a consortium of educational institutions and youth non-governmental organizations from 3 continents – Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, China, Ghana and Nepal.
