27.10.2011 Lecturer from IUC with article in The International Professional Management Review

Vladimir Zhechev from IUC authored the scientific article – “Critical Review of Change Management and Practical Application (in higher education)” with Associate Prof. Stanislav Ivanov, Ph. D., which was published in the International Journal of Professional Management in the UK. The International Professional Managers Review has been established to provide academics and practitioners a platform and a Journal for their exploration of new ideas, concepts, techniques and practice. The article was published in two parts and the Editor-in-chief outlined that Vladimir Zhechev should submit more publications as she found his ideas attention-grabbing for the scope of the journal.

Vladimir Zhechev - Assistant Professor in International Marketing, Branding and E-Commerce at International University College, Bulgaria has earned his Bachelor Degree in International Business and Management from Arnhem Business School, the Netherlands and immediately afterwards was placed on a marketing consultant position at General Motors Southeast Europe Representative Office in Bulgaria. In 2010 he has been awarded a Master Degree (MBA) with distinction by University of Wales. His academic interests, besides the abovementioned, include knowledge management and human resource management. He has published several articles in the fields of marketing, e-business, knowledge management in higher education and tourism in international academic journals and one monograph in the realm of automotive industry marketing. Vladimir Zhechev has also co-authored a hotel marketing textbook, which has been published in 2011.

The journal aims to provide solid information about the latest theories and practices, right across the world. Recent issues have ranged from individual employability to global operations strategy, and having contributors from four continents.
