20.05.2013 English High School "Rayko Tsonchev" sent Class'13
Ceremony for the graduates of Class 2013 of High school "Rayko Tsonchev" was held today at the Mirror Hall "Nelly Bozhkova" in Dobrich. The English school sent its third class of graduates who have graduated in entrepreneurship and tourism profile. Special guest was Bojan Tsonchev, the grandson of the patron of the school Rayko Tsonchev - who funded the construction of the school back in 1909. "I am extremely impressed by the atmosphere at the school and the students that I met. Many talented and interesting young people. This is my first visit to the school, I live abroad and so far I have not had the opportunity to come. I believe that we will continue our cooperation in various endeavors. "- said Boyan Tsonchev.

A lecture will be held today on the following topic: Cybercrimes and how to protect ourselves from them The number of electronic payments is increasing more and more these days. New technologies are not only convenient and fast, but also carry risks and dangers of losing money. The potential risks and dangers are discussed in the lecture and special attention is paid to basic measures of preventing from electronic fraud and crime.

24.04.2013 Students from 17 nationalities read works of Dora Gabe
On April 23, in the lobby of the IUC another reading marathon was launched. This year it is dedicated to World Book and Copyright Day and the 125th birth anniversary of Dora Gabe. The title of the marathon was "Dora Gabe". The event is organized in partnership with the Regional History Museum, the Community Center, "Jordan Jovkov-1870," Regional Library "Dora Gabe", "Dora Gabe-1940"-Dabovik and Art Gallery Dobrich. Students, faculty and staff of International University College, students and teachers from the english high school "Rayko Tsonchev" and many citizens had the opportunity to participate in the marathon throughout the day.

Bulgarian and foreign students created a huge Easter Egg from paper and glue and paint it together in the English class at the International University College (IUC).

In the period between 18th-21st March Prof. Craig Webster held a number of lectures in Contemporary issues in international political economy. The IUC students had the chance to attend the classes and learn from a great mind in the field of international political economy!

21.03.2013 International students from IUC took part in the campaign organized by Bulgarian Youth Red Cross
On the occasion of 21st March- International Day against Racial Discrimination volunteers from the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross, organized a campaign which the international students participated. Students from Ukraine, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Nigeria and others eagerly supported the initiative. The campaign aims to unite all in the cause of combating discrimination. The motto of the initiative is "Diversity Unites".

07.03.2013 Bulgarian students took part in the Web Summit Hackday in London
Last week, was held the competition London Web Summit Hackday, which aims to bring together "hackers" from Europe and the world. Within one day, enthusiastic developers had to create mobile or web application using predefined by the jury API (application-supplied software).

01.03.2013 Students from nearly ten countries made traditional for the begining of March- "Martenitsas"
Bulgarian and a foreign students from International University College organized "Martenitsa" workshop. With this initiative, students want to show and tell about the tradition in Bulgaria related to the occurrence of the Spring. Students from Nigeria, China, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Moldova, together with their Bulgarian fellow students and teachers from IUC created martenitsi, part of which will be donated to orphan children and others were exchanged between foreign students.

18.02.2013 IUC will be one of the universities involved in the U-Multirank
A conference in Dublin was held in January, which marked the official start of the new university rankings U-Multirank financed by the European Union. IUC is the only Bulgarian university, which took part in the event. Except in this ranking IUC is included in a number of other national and international universities ratings such as SSRN, Eduniversal, Best Masters, "Ranking of Bulgarian universities".
