The Career center of International University College, Dobrich is accommodated on the second floor in the college building, office number 33. The center officially operates since the academic year 2006/2007 and has been established with the support of the "Labor market" Project, the American Agency for International Development and Job Tiger. Additionally, it is being assisted by the Foundation of Business and Education. 

The major activities of the Career center incorporate:

1.      Creating and maintaining business relationships with companies

2.      To assist students in their interview preparation

3.      To help professional orientation

Students who use the services of the Career center receive:

-          Information on internship and permanent job vacancies

-          Information about various companies of interest

-          Tutorials on how to find the proper job or internship

-          Assistance in the preparing the necessary documents to start a job/internship

-          Career orientation

-          Participation in company presentation and seminars

Registration:

All students of International University College can be registered in the career center regardless of their specialty, year of study and type of study.

Registration can be executed in three ways:

-     filling in an application form in the Career center

-          Sending a Curriculum Vitae (CV) to e-mail: career@vumk.eu

-          Filling in an online application form (which could be downloaded from here)
and sending it to career@vumk.eu

Those students who have already graduated can also obtain actual information on job vacancies as well as any other sort of information regarding IUC. The only thing that they have to do is to fill in the online application form and send it to: career@vumk.eu

 Alternatively, employers who offer internship programmes or job opportunities can also be registered with us.

Employers can benefit from:

• Free dissemination of information on job vacancies, internship programmes, scholarships and additional information
• Arrangement of company presentations
• Distribution of company brochures and advertising materials among the IUC community
• Participation in the "Labor market" - a congregation specially organized by the Career Center

Employers can be registered by:

-          Filling in a registration form in the Career center

-          Filling in the online application form (which can be downloaded from here) and sending it to career@vumk.eu 

Advertisement broadcasting

Advertisements are being spread out in the following ways:
•    Publishing on the IUC website;
•    Sending them by e-mail to the students registered in the Career center;
•    Putting them on an information board in and around the premises of International University College;
•    An electronic copy of the advertisement has to be sent to career@vumk.eu

The advertisement has to contain the following information:

- Brief explanation of the company's business and logo

- Positions offered

- Requirements

- Instructions on how to apply

- Contact details (contact person, telephone, and address)

Organizing company presentations:

 

- Arrangement of the date and time of the activity

- The Career center is in charge of preparing an announcement

- The information is being disseminated through the IUC website, through e-mail to the registered students and through announcement boards within the college building.

-  The Career Center can supply presentational equipment (notebook and multimedia projector) on demand from the company
